Compliance Management Systems
SNI ISO 37301 : 2021

ISO 37301 is a compliance management system that contains requirements with guidelines for use in establishing, developing, implementing, evaluating and improving an effective and responsive compliance management system in an organization.

The ISO 37301 standard functions as a guideline for organizations in implementing a compliance management system (CMS). ISO 37301 can also be used to compare existing management systems with international standards.

The Compliance Management System is a series of processes to ensure that company or organization operations are in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations and codes of ethics. Implementing an effective compliance management system will help companies improve compliance throughout the organization to determine relevant documents.

The requirements of ISO 37301 are general and can be applied to all organizations whether in the public, private or non-profit sectors. ISO 37301 is not only for large companies, but can also be applied to any organization that wants to develop a management system, including MSMEs.

ISO 37301 objectives

The international standard ISO 37301 provides requirements and guidelines for an effective compliance management system based on the principles of good governance, proportionality, transparency and sustainability.

Apart from providing guarantees to stakeholders, implementing ISO 37301 also allows companies or organizations to further increase the effectiveness of the CMS that has been used.

ISO 37301 will replace the ISO 19600 standard regarding compliance management system guidelines published in 2014. Because it contains requirements, ISO 37301 can be certified.
